We know this incredible dancer for her Oriental dance classes at the Centre de Danse du Marais or at the Studio Harmonic (more info. on www.leilahaddad.com). It is time we discovered the choreographer and her fine company of 10 performers. "Zikrayat", her latest creation, is a tribute to Oum Kalsoum, the voice of the East. Leila Haddad’s dance is inspired by a poem written by Ahmad Rami for the diva – one among the 200 songs he composed for her†! On stage, Leila Haddad gives substance to this bewitching chant.
